Dear El Cerrito Middle School Families and Community,

It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of El Cerrito Middle School. As someone who was raised in Corona, this opportunity holds a special place in my heart. I am a proud product of the Corona-Norco Unified School District—having attended CNUSD schools from kindergarten through 12th grade and graduating from Corona High School (Go Panthers!). This community shaped who I am, and I am honored to now give back by serving the students, families, and staff of El Cerrito Middle School.

I began my career in CNUSD in 1999 and am proud to be entering my 22nd year of service to students. Throughout my career, my purpose has remained simple and clear: kids first, always. I am passionate about creating an environment where students feel safe, connected, and inspired to be their very best. You’ll find me high-fiving students at the front gate in the morning, cheering them on at lunch, and wearing silly costumes during Spirit Days. Whether it's a game of rock, paper, scissors or a thoughtful conversation about their goals, I am committed to building meaningful relationships with our Redhawks.

Just as I am dedicated to students, I am equally committed to supporting the incredible staff at El Cerrito. My job is to ensure our teachers and support staff have the tools, resources, and encouragement they need to do what they do best—teach, mentor, and inspire kids. Together, we will continue building on the rich traditions of El Cerrito Middle School while creating new opportunities for our students to SOAR academically, socially, and emotionally.
